Our Family Support service is a community based programme offering a wide range of activities that aim to strengthen informal social networks in the Dundrum area.

The focus of these services is to provide early intervention which aims to promote and protect the health and well-being of all children, young people, their families and the vulnerable or at risk within our community.

Our Family Support Worker provides crucial support to individuals and families who need help with life's stresses, such as bereavement, depression, redundancy, marital separation, illness, abuse, and financial problems.

These issues can contribute to the stress of family relationships and can be assessed and dealt with by providing the appropriate supports, such as peer groups.

These groups provide adults, teenagers and children with the opportunity to support each other by means of sharing their stories and experiences with one another.
